In Romania he worked as a refugee in "hard labor" work but at least the Romanian people didn't let the Nazis take the Jewish and kill them. The Romanian people were very corrupt and he could buy the work in money. It means he paid money instead of doing the hard work.Now my grandfather has a great life and he is a very active man, he has great knowledge about many things and he is a great grand father. My
grandfather, Hans, was in Vienna, Austria. He was 12 years old when
he left Vienna and ran away to Romania from the Nazis. He
was very lucky because he and his mother were alive but all of his
family was killed by the Nazis.
