Michael Jordan

Childhood

Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, in 1960. As a child, he grew a strong love for basketball. At 14, he was cut from his high school basketball team. For the next 3 years, he would be the star of his basketball team.

 

College

Michael Jordan received a scholarship to the University of North Carolina, a school famous for it’s basketball. He played all 4 seasons there and led his team to the championship in his senior season. He was then drafted in the first round by the Chicago Bulls.
