As a young boy he was raised in a racially divided town. His father was a preacher and his mother was a stay at home mom. As a kid growing up he thought that slavery was wrong, even the 'slavery' of separation of the races. In this process he became one of the best known civil rights leaders in history. He was best known for his March on Washington. Dr. King also has won awards such as the noble prize for peace. He was a great man who fought for equal rights for all men no matter color, race, or cultural background. Text and html:
