Mohandas K. Gandhi

As a kid, some things about India disturbed him. One of those things was that people had to pay for salt. The British Empire ruled everything and sold salt for a lot of money. They also made it against the law for people to buy salt from anywhere else or to make their own. Gandhi was upset about this, and after he tried and didn't succeed lowering the price, he called people to go to the sea and make salt by themselves. He was arrested for inciting and trying to incite by the British. When he was released he continued fighting for Indian independence and rights. In 1947 Gandhi's dream came true – India won liberty.
