My personal hero is my grandfather. He lived quite a life. He joined the army when he was young; by the time the Vietnam war occurred he was older and could not fight.

He had two children my father Gerald Coamey named after him and my uncle Andrew Coamey. Later in his life when he was in his 60's he underwent a three year battle with lung cancer.

We visited him a lot during this time. My father and Uncle both went down to Florida a few weeks before he died. After he died he wasn't forgotten because of the great life he lived.
